This harmonic restoration is performed using patent-pending technology that carefully synthesizes high frequency harmonics to replace the harmonics lost during the encoding process. Adding Ambience to your audio compensates for the lost or diminished stereo depth that is the result of closely located speakers, poor listening environments, and sonic losses due to data compression of Internet audio formats.

DFX compensates for the reduced stereo imaging and depth of PC audio by carefully regenerating the ambience and stereo depth. This same ambience processing has been used by Grammy winning engineers of artists such as Alanis Morissette and Ella Fitzgerald.

HyperBass greatly improves the bass performance of any sound system. Adding Dynamic Boost increases the 313 loudness of your audio while minimizing distortion levels, particularly when using Internet audio systems.

I miss you tube: Keep an eye on the times if you can. I have reinstalled it too and according to the Adobe website it is running properly. When I try to upgraded Java I get a error message that tells me I have to go to Internet Explorer options to change the connection settings. I just don’t understand why others do not work right. Will try updating my Flash Player when Sounds like memory, but I am still a little new to Macs and don’t know what to do.

All browser I try are the same choppy. My moms XP duron onlty 1. But it works fine. So it’s something mac related. Some one please help me. You might be on to something because the problem started after i moved my computer.

I plugged the head phones into the front head phone jack, but there was no sound with flash player. I looked on the back, adn there is only one light green place to plug in the speakers.

When plugged in, there also is no sound. I don’t think there is a rear or front jack, other then the two that i mentioned. It only stays blank. I have a dell I just upgraded to Flash 8 tonight, so I’m a little bit of a newbie as to the new FLV Player that’s included so cool though!!!

I tried the AS from the help file, but it didn’t work out. I’m at my wits end with this and confused as to why I can’t preload the movie. The preloader just blinks for a second, then the movie plays but it’s large so it gets choppy every now and then.

Actually I did try setting the buffer to 10 and it didn’t correct the problem. Tried adding the suggested FLV Preloader but it doesn’t work with this instance component loading external movie file so I ended up having to use a different FLV Player altogether and it worked fine.

Seems like there is something wrong with the built-in component -i f another FLV Player works perfectly without any additional programming or tweaking and was developed by an outside source other than Adobe.

One of the problems that now occur: The swf files i used to be able to play just fine, are now playing so fast and choppy that the gfx can’t keep up with the sound. Changing quality doesn’t have any effect.

Any suggestions on what to do? If there is a stand-alone flash-player, I would love to get my hands on it My flash player downloads but when I check for it in Control Panel, all that shows is Flash Player Active X and in the left hand corner there’s a little red X.

When I watch anything, my picture and audio is choppy. Do anyone know what I should do to fix this problem? Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately that doesn’t fix the problem either. But I wish there is a way to check to see if my video card is actually using it’s hardware acceleration forreal or not because I have a pretty high end graphic card.

Sound is now terrible in Chrome browser with flash both up to date. There is sound but its choppy, starts and stops and sounds horrible on you tube and other sites, Firefox plays fine, so do audio files on the hard drive.

Specifically, the problem is this. When using a Flash player audio or video on any web page, while doing activity in another tab or window on the same browser, the sound or video stutters and chops up.

Like, just mousing over links in a webpage will cause the sound to jump and stutter in time with the mouse actions. Happens with embedded audio players and video players alike.

I reverted to an older Flash version a couple weeks ago and that fixed the issue. I also posted about this in the Adobe Flash forum, since the problem arose when updating to the latest Flash Player version.

I suppose the problem is more on the Flash end than in Firefox Reverting to a previous version of Flash did nothing, but setting the priority to “AboveNormal” works. But that’s such a pain to do everytime.

Is there any other workaround? Or a way to set plugincontainer. I am getting choppy video and sound. I have a my book live 2TB network drive. Am I missing something any suggestions?? I bought a wireless N router because i thought it was that.

There could be a few different issues. I have a few questions though, to get an idea of what is going on. Thanks for the posting. I am using the latest Flash version , having updated it with verson 10, with some difficulties!

Flash videos such as the videos posted on http: I’m using Windows7,Flash Player Hello,I am having a problem while watching videos online: I am not very good with computers.

Also somedays the videos are working fine, and somedays they are all bad independent of websites. I would very much appreciate if you can help me. I have a same problem for quite a while.

It happened on safari and chrome. Could you check it out http: I’ve been currently experiencing choppy youtube videos. The video would load perfectly fine as well as the audio quality not being tampered with.

However, the video quality itself has been dramatically shifted. I never had this problem with youtube videos until yesterday. I tried uninstalling the Flash player plug-in and reinstalling it as well as emptying all the caches.

My storage currently is labelled below: I tried the Flash player tests that Adobe has provided and all of them have identical results; the video quality is laggy and choppy while sound is fine.

This only happens to youtube videos apparently since my iTunes videos that I downloaded are running perfectly fine. If this information helps, I have the Using a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with Android 4.

Like maybe 20 frames a second, not 24 or 30 fps. This doesn’t happen all the time, just sometimes. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I get sound with realplayer and windows media player. My speakers are plugged in and sound is not muted or turned down in any way.

I get audio in all situations except when attempting to use Adobe flash player I uninstalled pulse audio because it was more trouble than its worth and now having just ALSA, sound in flash videos is choppy.

Ok, the problem is solved when I run the laptop for the first time, but as soon as I suspend it and resume, the choppy sound in flash in Chrome is back. Even after upgrading my quicktime player to the latest version 6.

I tried playing around with the quicktime’s settings with no luck. I noticed that this problem doesnt exist when playing quicktime movies in Netscape 8. Regarding TotalRecorder, they do have instructions for iTunes and Quicktime on their site note these instructions are for versions of Quicktime 7.

I have QuickTime 7. To get them working for playback, go to the Quicktime preferences and select the Audio tab. Under the Devices section, select the “Select Audio Playback This will open you PC’s sound and audio properties dialog.

In the Sound Playback section, make sure to choose your soundcard and not the Total Recorder driver. Apply and OK all changes and restart Quicktime. This worked for me so YMMV. To the other who have the problem and do not have TotalRecorder installed, I would suggest adjusting your Sound and Audio properties anyway.

Why is flash player so choppy in Internet Explorer 9? And how do i make it smooth. I was wondering is there is a way to uninstall IE9, then reinstall it? If i use Firefox, chrome, or safari its smooth as silk no problem at all Idon’t like using them, but i’m being forced to use them because of this.

You can see in windows “Task manager” which porocess is eating the CPU. In Internet explorer write: No real question, just wanted to submit the problem and what I did about it. Will try updating my Flash Player when Adobe Flash versions I tried all the recommended fixes and no positive results.

I clean installed three different versions I had saved in my downloads file, One site in particular educator. Most tries I couldn’t get passed the first thirty seconds before the video reset itself and even then it was to choppy to view.

So, for now I will stay with At least the pop up allows me to give permanent permissions to the sites I choose. On other sites it will be a good reminder to be careful where I browse.

Hello C F – Thank you for your reply. I tried the “restart Firefox with Add-ons Disabled The Flash on that page worked with In this particular case it may be just a quirk of my machine.

I’ll try again with the next release. Thanks again and take care. The sound could be described as choppy, skipping, etc. This skipping is continuous. Music and video that are already on the computer play without any problems.

How can I fix this? OK i have a sound blster XFI xtreamegamer card, but the problem is that when i have like Ventrilo, media player and Counter Strike going my sound gets choppy any reasons?

Is it possible for me to record sound from a microphone using a lower version of flash player, say Flash Player 9? If not, flash SampleDataEvent is required to access microphone data.

Only flash player 10 or higher accepts such event if I’m not mistaken. The player always stops with message says Buffering. Video is very choppy. Can I get it to play smoothly. All of a sudden I am getting choppy video playback on web content from any site using any browser.

I have searched and searched every online forum I can find. The problem most say is old machines that are not Intel proccessors. Another problem described is RAM. And another is the Flash player plug-in.

And over 20Gb of space left on my Gb hard drive. I do not see why there would be any hardware problems here. I have also uninstalled the Flash plug-in, properly and completely.

I have reinstalled it too and according to the Adobe website it is running properly. I also use MacKeeper and everything according to that is running efficiently.

The last time I completely reformatted my HDD was less than a year ago. My battery is old, but it still manages to last for about 3 hours, so I’m guessing that’s not packed up just yet either.

Does anyone have a freakin clue why my web video is still choppy? The sound for a video plays out just fine, but the video freezes and then starts up again a few seconds later. Some browser it’s better on one day and worse the next.

The same is true for different websites. But it is almost never smooth. That article seems useful. IPv4s are becoming extinct and it’s not at all clear IPv6s are ready for prime time.

My download speed is 1. Can you tell me why I am unable to view videos and what to do about it? Flash is playing unchoppily even smoothly. About 2 weeks ago our internet went down and Time Warner pushed some buttons on their end – perhaps that was it???

For me flash has always installed fine but in the last couple of weeks it started playing jerkily to the point of not playing at all Its not buffering because the video loads in totality and still its choppy.

I am using currently SL since lion was kinda slow on my machine. Anyone having the same issue? I’ve been having this problem for a few good months: Youtube videos or MIDI files is choppy, as if only every other sample of the sound were played.

This happens even when there aren’t many programs opened, so likely not a performance issue. The problem is not browser-related, as the same thing happens in Chrome and IE. I’m guessing it’s from Adobe Flash Player, even though I also get choppy sound when playing sound files which I don’t think play through Flash, such as this one.

I tried to find the Flash version but I’m not sure where to look for it. Sorry for the delay. If both videos produce the same output, then the issue is not Flash related as the first video uses HTML 5 only.

Your error with the dxdiag report leads me to believe that you’re having a problem with your audio drivers. I’d recommend trying to update your key system drivers audio, video, and network to see if that resolves the problem.

I have a XPS M and having sound issue with it. The sound out of the speaker become choppy or inaudible. This is also with headphones. Does anyone have the same issue?

Or know how to fix it? I have no sound when I play a video from YouTube, while the sound works with all other applications. You may want to try eliminating programs starting up in the background that could be causing problems.

See the following Dell Knowledge Base article for further information:. The fact that other audio files play normally indicates that your audio solution is operating within normal parameters.

I could use some help. RealPlayer version 11 plays the video but won’t play the sound! There is no mute on and any other video that is on my hard drive not DVD plays with sound.

Right-click the channel for the drive and select Properties. Click the Advanced Settings tab. For the sound issue, check the sound settings in RealPlayer. Message Edited by Skybird on I’ve tried a clean install of XP as a guest and the same thing happens after installing the tools, the host OS is Windows 8 Pro x Since updating to I’ve tried shutting down other things on processes and reloaded It’s so bad I can’t watch it.

What is interfering or is it Sound works great in the Guest. Hmm, let’s see, what was it about asking “My first question is why care” that made you think it was “advice” or even a suggestion.

It seemed to me to be a question soliciting information you didn’t supply in your earlier post. I apologise that my mind reading skills are not what they used to be. Based on the new information you have provided, my feeling is that the cause lies in your physical sound card drivers.

It isn’t a problem I recall being reported by anyone else so one has to suspect the cause is local to your host. Just in case, you did search the forums for reports of similar problems?

You might try changing the emulated sound card type. I doubt that will help because I doubt that the guest drivers for each emulated sound card can drive the host sound system differently.

You can find details on changing the emulated sound card by searching the forum. You should probably read the forum “terms of use” that you accepted when you created your account. Here’s the part that answers that question:.

Some VMWare guys hang out here some extremely talented ones but VMWare never promised you technical support would be here or that any VMWare staff would read them or that programmers would be trawling them for ideas.

I got the Froyo update today around 1: After it installed, however, I am having some problems with the Flash player. I am able to see the Flash videos, though it is somewhat choppy, but I am having a problem with the sound.

On some sites, like colbertnation. It sounds like the people are speaking in slow motion, but the video is running at normal speed. I don’t know how to fix this problem, or if it can be fixed. If someone is having the same problem please let me know!

I would like to have Flash work for all websites like its supposed to. I tried option 2. That still hasn’t worked. Some websites work just fine, like nba. I just don’t understand why others do not work right.

I dont want to restore my whole phone for just a couple of website issues. My music and sound is choppy , almost like a skip or almost a freeze. Windows Media Player is fine.. Default sound ok on most PC apps..

When I play a MB file in rmvb format with my Nokia , the sound plays alright but the video seems to be lagging and choppy. I have experienced choppy sound on the Dell PC that I bought a couple of weeks ago.

I’m experimenting the following: No sound on MP4 H. I can play H video perfectly on my BS. Player pro, but to be honest the quality is not as good as I used to get from WMP Divx files with dual audio are playing both tracks, that annoying I’m seriously considering uninstalling WMP12 andstickingwith BS for videos and maybe i’ll get winamp for audio I am using a Macbook pro and Safari and my flash player is v.

It just seems to have started after the latest upgrade. Here you select DMA if available. I am not able to get sound in videos with Flash Player 11 for such videos as You Tube and movie trailers. Any ideas on how to remedy this?

I tried Youtube on Firefox and could hear sound on all videos. I also downloaded Chrome and I now have sound using Youtube on Google. Thanks for your assistance. Each time I want to watch a video on the internet, it acts jerky, choppy, and sluggish especially whenever I put it on fullscreen.

I cleared up all my cache on my browsers yet it still did not do the job. When I try to scan for viruses to see what’s wrong with it, the scanner didn’t pick up anything pertaining to my issue.

Can anyone help me play my flash videos smoothly? I got my Mac back in November. I downloaded Flash Player right away so that I could watch videos. Everything has gone smoothly until about a week ago, when my youtube videos started playing severely choppy.

The sound is off and you can’t even really watch the videos because everything is moving so slowly and is so off. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, and that doesn’t seem to help.

By ‘choppy’, I meanthe sound cuts in and out every other second or two, continuously, on the entire CD. I tried copying twice with these applications and the same result. I used middle of the road quality CD-Rs.

When I use either the WMD or 2go programs I selected the best quality andI also tried it with and without using the programs’ ‘quality improving’ options to make surethose features didn’t cause the problemweren’t the problem.

Hello, Hp Compaq dx MT business desktop, came with XP Pro, upgraded to Vista SP2 but major problem with Adobe flash player, everything works fine even the dvd and cd but youtube video is showing choppy with no audio, I uninstalled adobe 3 times and I tried with all 3 browsers, chrome, FF and IE, help please?

Any type of video with audio the audio comes out choppy, skippy like. I have been going back and forth between Anything I can try to fix this problem? Also so you know I have already uninstalled all versionsof Flash and downloading only the latest version and that didn’t work.

I’m using Internet Explorer 6 with Flash 9. I have just installed WMware Player 3. Sound works perfect on the Host 64bit Lucid. While playing a dvd, about an hour into the movie the dvd player starts to become choppy and the sound is choppy as well.

I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else. If it is a recurrent problem it would be appreciated with an solution. When was the last time it was working fine? Does the Windows Media Player crashes only when tried to play that particular file or other files too?

Have you made any recent software or hardware changes on the computer? What information appears in event logs Event Viewer? I would also suggest you to run the Windows Media player settings troubleshooter and check if it helps.

I would also suggest you to download the latest drivers Audio and Video from the manufacturer website. Click Start, type Sound. The Sound Window appears. The properties window appears.

Click the Enhancements Tab. Click to check the Disable all enhancements checkbox. Click Apply and then OK. The properties window closes. The sound Window closes.

With my previous setup, flash plugins was working fine not as smooth as on Windows, but still ok , but after making this change, flash playback on for instance YouTube, its so choppy, its not watchable.

I tried adding the mms. Is the problem related to wether compositing is enabled in X? See sites such as chat roulette or vyou. I’m using Flash Player Also, this seemed to only happen since Adobe made their security update to the webcam settings panel.

We made some bug fixes for webcam support in last Friday’s release When I go to any web site that have video it always choppy. I think it the flash player causing the problem. I have install the newest flash player but that does not solve the problem.

Hello all, Not sure where I should post for problems with Flash Player 9. I’m on a Mac using This just started in the last couple of months. I have done these recent updates: These are the only changes I have made to the computer.

Some of our audio book publishers use the Adobe Flash Player 9 to offer sound clips. I am quite familiar with how to download, to our audio books Web store, other types of sound clips such as wma and mp3 but haven’t figured out how to download the Flash Player 9 files.

Hi all I have a? I have a 1. No matter if I have one or 3 applications running, Windows Media Player is choppy and cuts out. So is Shockwave Flash. Even Quicktime loads choppily.

My internet connection is solid, and the problem persists no matter where I am. Sounds like memory, but I am still a little new to Macs and don’t know what to do. Do I just not have enough? Im experiencing terrible performance with anything related to Flash Player Video playback is choppy and jerky, and its worse full screen.

When developing flash animations with software called SwishMax that uses an embedded ActiveX player, in-app performance is the same. Is anyone else experiencing this? Are there things I should check or reconfigure for optimum playback?

Sorry for the inconvienence. To further troubleshoot the issue we will have to perform the above steps. You can backup the data and restore the system to factory state to check for issue resolution.

I had to turn off the browser and reload again. It was good again for another 10 mins before it got choppy again. Hi i’m Terry, I have installed Flash Player 9. It tested ok on the installation testing animation.

Playing streaming videos, the image is ok but is jerky choppy some other guy said. It keeps freezing, streaming starts, then off goes the jerky image. This repeats all the time. The sound is ok. It plays youtube with no problems.

I have uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled many times. Cable connection with 1 Mbps. Its the same with Safari 1. There is one other Mac and one PC on our family router. The problem still happens when the other computers are not being used.

Help, it seems to be nearly there, but viewing videos as it is, is a waste of time.
